The third wettest summer in the region with average
temperature
Although it was
never really that hot during the summer (the maximum temperature was only 30.1 °C) it also was never cold, so the overall
temperature was just a little (0.06 degrees) below average but still within the
average range.
With 5 days of over 25 mm precipitation it isn’t hard to
image that it was a very wet summer. In
fact, with 442.1 mm it was the third wettest summer we have seen in the 100
years of records in the region. It was
consistently wet with the only dry period occurring during the last half of
August when we saw less than 5 mm.
