Early morning thunder
Was anybody else in Uptown Waterloo woken up at 4:30 am on Saturday morning by a particularly loud crack of thunder?
I was already awake on the corner of William and Avondale. The entire apartment lit up like day light, then the sound of the Earth cracking in half. You could feel it in your stomach!
Yes indeed, I had just gotten back from the bathroom and saw the bright flash and heard the very loud crack of thunder.Actually I think there were two quite bight and loud in short succession.
I was awake as well. It must have been very close to where I was, as I heard the thunder immediately, and it was followed by two extra shock waves that you don't normally hear.
Yep, same crack of thunder, same area (Roslin Ave S near Lourdes). It woke me up, and that usually takes something in the order of a handgrenade at 04:30.
I was sleeping on the couch in our living room at the Keats Way apartments. That crack of thunder seemed to shake the entire apartment and I went diving for my closet =)

Yes, I was also woken up by the same crack of thunder, just north of UWaterloo.
