As many people have noticed the temperature sensor is giving unrealistic readings during these days of very high temperatures.
We are working at trying to fix the problem.

What seems even more unrealistic to me is the humidex. I was just outside and came back to see that the temperature is 36.8 with a humidex of 50.1.
Having lived in hot climate before, I can tell you that it felt WAY cooler than 50.1 outside.
It also appears that in calculating the humidex only humidity and temperature are taken into account, while wind is a major factor in making you feel cooler than it actually is.
The incoming solar radiation also looks suspect. Usually sunny days have a nice bell curve pattern topping out around 900 w/m^2. The past few days it has been topping out at 300w/m^2 with the peak in the morning?
What about wind speed? it's been 0 since the 16th...
I think it's obvious all the instruments have issues with them. Humidex is used by calculating the Dewpoint and the Temp. Wind doesn't factor in. The Dewpoints are not 26 or 27. More like 18 to 20. Today's temperatures were actually plausible, but still likely 2C too high.
Today's temperatures could actually reach 36 to 38 C, so it will be interesting to see what the instruments come up with this afternoon!
38 degrees Celsius with 56.1 Humidex!
To be fair, though, The Weather Network is reporting 35 degree Celsius and a feels like of 47.
