June was wet with average temperatures
There were a few hot spells in June along with a few cooler spells, while the warmest day came at the end of the month. All of this resulted in an overall temperature just 0.2 degrees above average, well within the average range.
An interesting reset came when the temperature started at 27.3°C in the afternoon on the 13th and went down almost continually until the morning of the 15th reaching a low of 8.1°C.
The two wettest days of the month were the 17th and 18th when 13.2 mm and 29.6 mm of rain came down. This helped to put the total for the month of 102.0 mm ,well above the average of 71.0 mm. It also resulted in the total precipitation we have seen in the first half of the year of 523.4 mm going even further above than the average total of 416.1 mm.
