It looks like this July we might not have a single day that is more than 5 degrees below average.
Last year 10 days in July (ie. a third of the month) were that much colder than average.

Question for anyone who can answer: why are the UW humidex readings consistently 3-6 degrees higher than Waterloo Airport, or whether the Weather Network gets their data?
Well, first off, humidex is not a "reading", it is a calculation.
I think the reason why they differ is partly because each entity uses its own data (with the exception of TWN because they use EC data, from what I understand), and partly because the UW Weather Station uses a slightly different formula to calculate it. There's more info on this here:

My impression is that UW consistently has a higher dewpoint reading than the airport. As I type this, UW has 24.2 and the airport has 21.4. I haven't watched this closely, but I feel like pretty much every time I've ever looked (which is very rarely lately, but fairly frequently when I lived in K-W for a few years, a number of years ago), it's been that way.
