On the Monday of the Victoria Day weekend between 6:30 and 6:45 pm we got 14.5 mm of rain.
It is not a record for 15 minute precipitation at the University of Waterloo Weather Station (that was last year on July 23rd with 18.1 mm), but it very well could be the highest for this year.

Well that explains why there was so much flooding on King street at University around 7:00, I was wondering because I didn't see that much of an increase in the local creek's hydrographs.
Its the huge measurement, heavy rainfall also predicted in the coming days.As a Rain Gauges expert I suggest to people to take the precaution measures.
