I think the number of days this summer where we have seen both rain and sun has made this the summer of rainbows.
I can't remember ever seeing as many as I have this year, but I don't think I will be able to prove this as "number of rainbows" is not commonly reported at weather stations.

It was really nice to see after a long day of studying.

I had the exact same thought while driving home yesterday, after yet another event ended early due to rain.
Only rainbow I can remember seeing this year, besides the horizontal arc cloud on July 4, was that massive rainbow on Saturday.
Where were those pictures taken?
I saw a double rainbow just like that while in michigan this past weekend.
