Of the first 12 days of the year only two were warmer than average.
Since then it has been above average every day.

I work outside and I can say without doubt, it might have been warmer than average, but that windchill has brought things back down to reality every day. Still cold out there!
Well, man is a tropical creature all the same :) Freezing temperature is freezing wherever you are (be it the Caribbean, or Canada).
