A cool day and night

The high temperature only got up to 20.3°C on Thursday and the low on Friday morning went down to 7.5°C.

These were the coldest daytime high and nighttime low temperatures that we have seen in almost 2 months.

But of course a change is coming with 3 days of predicted highs over 30.

Oh, I wish it was like this every day in the summer. There's a reason it's called "room" temperature: because anything above it is too freakin' hot.

Amen brother. If it's over 20, it's too freakin hot. As they say, if 30 was nice there would be no need for AC.

What's up with radio DJ's anyways? All I've been hearing "it's going to be great, highs of 32 and sunny". Wonder how smart assed they would be if the control room they are in was 30 degrees.

Longing for that morning, hint of frost, clean air and a little shiver runs up you.

If every summer day was like Thursday that'd be sweet.

I'll be doing the annual end of summer poll in a few weeks, it will be interesting to see how many people will call it good or great.

The last two years over 50% have put it in those two categories.

Interestingly some of our longest heat waves have come at this time of the year (Late August into early September). This one though appears to be coming to a sudden end on Thursday, with a pattern more like early fall here by the weekend. Oh well.

Cool summer days and warm winter days are always welcomed. This is why Pacific Northwest, IMO, has the best climate in North America :)
