This blog highlights observations about the current (and past) weather conditions at the University of Waterloo weather station.
Looks like the wind sensor is down or frozen. Hasn't shown wind since 7pm last night. Also, your email on the site seems to be invalid?
Yes the wind sensor does seem to be stuck, I'll see if someone can look at it.Are you talking about the weather@civmail.uwaterloo.ca email address? I just did a test and it worked for me.
Hrm, no. I ran across your personal one first.550 5.1.2 ... Host unknown (Name server: sunburn.uwaterloo.ca: host not found)Reporting-MTA: dns; mailchk-m04.uwaterloo.ca
I'm not sure where you found that old email but it hasn't been active in about 15 years.
Click on your name at the bottom of the weather station site, then click on the email link (its mailto value is different than the displayed value).
Thanks, I have changed the mailto value.
I measured about 9 cm in Kitchener's Stanley Park. We were right in the rain-snow boundary most of the day Sunday before the cold air flooded in Sunday evening.
Thanks for saying how much snow we got.
