The temperature went above 0°C on Friday, January 23rd.
This was the first time it had happened since December 29th of last year and it probably won't happen again for a while.
(note I originally had the previous above zero date listed as December 28th by mistake)

Unless I'm reading the data wrong, according to the weather station records it went above zero on the 29th December. Sorry to be picky!
Great blog, by the way.
Good catch.
I had the 29th written in my notes but somehow it became the 28th when I was posting.
I have now corrected both the webpage and the blog.
(thanks for the kind words about the blog)
Hello Frank
Thank you so much for the one and only graph with the snowfall statistics that I have been able to find on weather stations for this region. I love the statistics you provide on your web site.--
The other thing I wanted to report was that today, Wednesday, Jan.28. we saw a buch of Robins in the tree in front of our home in central Waterloo, wondering if they will make it until spring arrives?!
Cheers,
Manfred ;-)
