A wet start to the month
As pointed out by an anonymous commenter on the blog, we had more rain during a 24 hour period between the 2nd and the 3rd of September (51.9 mm) than we did for the entire month of August (36.2 mm).

Did anyone witness the intense lightning show just south of Cambridge on Tuesday night? Probably started around 10pm and was almost continuous lightning, low to the horizon and orange in colour.

It's another wet day today. Did anyone notice how the RH has read 108.7% for the last little while? I noticed it first at noon...
The readings should stay below 100% from now on.
