Thunder last night?
Was I dreaming or was there some thunder early Friday morning?
Manfred said... Yes, indeed, there was a bright lightening flash and thunder clap shortly after 3:00 AM.You were not dreaming!! I am a senior who has to get up several times through the night and had just woken up when the lightening and thunder occurred, but I only saw and heard it once. Manfred ;-)
It was **bloody cold**! I was in Guelph ... didn't hear any boomers ... but got a nasty surprise when I went outside at about 2 p.m. on Friday ... Brrr!
Yes. In the Margaret/Union area we had very loud thunder. What I thought was interesting was it started with several loud snaps (sort of a POP-POP-POP sound) just prior to the thunder rumble. Don't quite know what that was.

I heard one huge, long thunder boomer and that was it.
I did as well. Sometime around 4am or so? I'm near Homer Watson and Ottawa.

I missed it, but I've talked to a number of people from north Waterloo who say they heard a huge single clap around 3:30am.
The dog hear the thunder, and then we got to listen to the dog bark for 5 minutes at 4 am.
